This is a multi-layered painting called “Portal”. The furthest background is acid-free paper. The silver layer is a 4” square canvas panel painted with silver acrylic paint. The outermost layer is a wood hexagon (approx. 3” x 3.5”) that has been painted with dragonfly glaze, hand-dotted with silver and ice blue metallic acrylic paints, and sealed with varnish.

The piece has been mounted into a black frame, with no glass. The overall dimensions are approximately 6.25” square, and the piece can sit on a tabletop or be hung on the wall.

All photos are of the same piece. The first photo shows it standing up on a tabletop. The second shows it lying flat with a ruler for scale. The last photo shows the color-changing effect of the dragonfly glaze, as well as the depth and dimension of the piece.

As with all of my creations, this piece has also been infused with Reiki healing energy, love, and positive intentions.
