Why I Only Offer Distance Reiki Sessions

I have switched to only offering Distance Reiki sessions, and I no longer offer in-person Reiki sessions. A lot of people are pretty upset about this, so I would like to share why I made this decision.

But before I jump into that, I’d like to clear up one big thing:
Distance Reiki sessions are just as effective, and have all of the same healing benefits, as in-person sessions.

In 2020, while we were all spending tons of time at home and I had to pause parts of my business, I spent quite a bit of time doing a LOT of inner work. This included lots of meditation, soul-searching, and intuitive exercises.

During that time, I was doing many Distance Reiki sessions, and I started noticing how much deeper my sessions were going. I began getting way more information than ever before, and that information was far more detailed than it had been in the past. And that trend has continued as I continue to lean into my gifts even more and trust in the messages that I receive.

During a Distance Reiki session, I take a copious amount of notes with all of the messages that come through, which I then translate into a cohesive email for my client. My clients then have a written copy of their messages that they can read and re-read whenever they would like. This is just not something that I can offer when doing in-person sessions.

Distance Reiki sessions allow me to serve my clients in the absolute best and complete way that I am able.

A Distance session allows my clients to be relaxed in their own space, while they receive the healing they are meant to receive. And it also provides them with a detailed written report of all of the messages and guidance I’ve received for them. I’ve gotten quite a bit of feedback that the details I’m able to provide have really been key in supporting my clients with concrete things or situations to focus and work on.

Now this doesn’t mean that I’m a ghost to my clients! I am available for a phone or Zoom chat prior to them booking a session so they can “meet” me and talk through any questions they may have (especially since Distance Reiki is still so new to so many folks). And I’m absolutely available for any follow up questions or discussion after they have had a chance to read and digest their messages. We can do that via phone or Zoom too (in addition to email or text). I am absolutely a support system for my clients throughout the process; that is one thing that definitely has not changed.
